Julian… Oh Julian.
My first read from R.S. Grey and NO REGRET!!
The Allure of Julian Lefray is really entertaining and enjoyable read. It’s about fashion which is liked. It’s about blogging which is i do. Yeah, it’s all about daily life of a girl who is trying find a job in a big city. Jo Keller need a job and achieve her dream in fashion. She knows the rough patch lay on her way but she never give up. I liked Jo because her character is not boring, strong, a bit of firecracker and honest. She met Julian in a fashion party. Accidentally, Julian Lefray happened to be her future boss. So, their adventure is about to begin…
“You need a job and he’s looking for a new assistant. Nothing more, nothing less. Ignore the tall, dark, and handsome vibe. Book boyfriends exist for a reason.”
It flowed nicely with no drama. Some problem can be handled smoothly. Both of MCs’ has really interesting family background. Their romantic encounter is really sexy and fun. When Julian become overprotective and began to feel jealous, i loved it! Their intimacy is real with slow building but it’s not overdone. Their life and job is very interesting to follow and well-balanced with the romantic side.
With some minor issue like the ending is too rushed with i-love-you thing. Overall, The Allure of Julian Lefray is light and fluffy read. Well-written as well it has intelligence inside both of MCs. I think i’m in love with Julian, so i rounded up the rating 😉 Couldn’t wait for Dean’s book with Jo’s friend. Don’t wanna miss their first meet. I have high expectation for them. I would love to recommend this book for everyone who like to read sexy and cute chick-lit romance without too much sugar.
Oh, i loved the cover. It was caught my attention, tbh.
